He left in early October last year and came back during gun season completely busted up. After being here daily all summer these are the first pics of him in 15 days. We shall play the game out and see how the cards fall.
Pulled the WV cams. If we could just keep these bucks around more. A couple are confirmed dead.

I started hunting there on Thanksgiving Day 1981. Back then you had nonstop deer action. 6-8-10 deer would come by at a time. During rifle you would scope them all, then start over if they were still in sight. Eventually you might find spikes on one. Anything more than 4 points we called a non-typical. I quit hunting there from 2000-2006 because I was tired of killing spikes and kids activities. Now you have a legitimate chance at 120s and possibly bigger in our neck of the woods. But there can be some painfully slow days.
Some of the gun season survivors, 2023 looks promising. Hopefully a few of these explode.
What ya got? Dave?That one with the busted tines looks grumpy. Can I suggest a name?

Dustin. If that deer had a Bud Light, it would look just like Dustin guarding his food. I bet that deer only wears shorts too!
