We have been looking for a 69 camaro for my dad, he turns 60 April 1st and mom wants to find one. We have looked about everywhere, have found some that are in our price range but most are not what we're looking for. Looking to spend 30 to 40. Doesn't have to be a show car would just like a strong running driver. If anyone knows of any leads I'd appreciate it.

Man y'all didn't leave yourself much time buddy. I'll ask my FIL but most of his contacts are out west and it might be a few months before he's out that way again to drag one back.

In my best pawn stars impression.

Best I can do is a 2013' vw passat SEL premium TDI🤣

Good luck man. That is going to be a hard find in that price range. I'll keep my ear to the ground. I only know one person with those cars and all the ones he has are probably closer to 6 figure cars.

I put the word out to a local buddy. He has a couple but they are rotisserie, numbers matching, high end rides. His resources are great though. Retired sales manager of a local large dealer. Been a horse trader and hot rod guy for decades.

Are you on Facebook? I did a quick search. This is the first one I saw. One pic. Low miles. Low price. Probably a scam. If not, probably sold already. I'll keep looking.

Scratch that. Did some digging. Above IS a scam. I thought I smelled a fart. I did. It lead to a turd. Avoid the scam in the above post.

This one seems legit. You can at least research the local shop and guy who did the work. Listed as 7/10 on the body seems honest because it looks good in the pics. Probably not a scam.

Dads one of those guys that has always drove whatever cheap truck he could find, he had probably 10 old square body's when we were growing up (I wish he still had some of them). He's to cheap to spend anything on himself. Unless it's a new gun. Mom and him are doing really good right now with her being part owner in a few dunkin stores so she wants to get him one. Thanks Phil I'll get with you if this one my brother found falls through. I've got a second Gen and after really digging and looking at prices I should sell it. I stole it, gave a guy 15k for it 2 years ago. All I had to do was get it running and do a few small things to finish it.

If you sell, sell it now. Find another in that price range when the bottom of the economy falls out again. Just reread what you said about your dad's square bodies. Will selling it bring the same regrets? I'll keep poking around to see what I can find. I enjoy the hunt.
