I almost made this a poll but I'm hoping a discussion will help myself and others more.

I few years back I stopped drinking purified water. I would basically only drink spring water or well water. Well, I got away from that because work supplies purified water. I think I'm going to go back to buying my own and go back to spring only.

I've always thought that purified water was worthless. Any minerals or good has been removed. Basically just flushing the system with your body still lacking the good of water.

What do you guys think?

Anyone have any thoughts on alkaline waters?

What do you drink?

I drink spring water as much as I can. Distilled and purified waters can indeed flush your system of vital electrolytes. Occasionally, especially in the summer, I'll buy the high-end water with electrolytes and it's tastes superior to other bottled waters. I grew up on a water system that was the subject of a Netflix documentary. We also stopped drinking tap water during the drought of '88, which somewhat coincided with the revelation that our water system was compromised. At home, we filter our water via a Brita pitcher, but I'm close to buying a water cooler now that we have a reverse osmosis water supplier down the road.

I dont enjoy the empty plastic cheap water at work but drink it. I feel round up ready well water has a much better flavor. Metalic flavor like drinking from a can...

Methinks if you are relying on your water for proper mineral consumption you need to eat better. I primarily drink filtered softened well water from my refrigerator. I still drink from the tap occasionally, and because I’m a child savage from a garden hose, too. I’d sooner drink distilled water than fluorinated, chlorinated, leaded, creosoted, PCB’d, Mercuried and god knows what else water from a municipal water supply.

We drink britta filtered tap water. When we get bottled its always spring water. Some of the best water I ever drank in my life was a glacier fed stream in the middle of alaska.

Not that I'm mineral deficient. Like eating empty calories when drinking the processed water.

I've seen some tests on popular waters and most aren't what they say they are ph wise anyways. Some of the best water I've ever had was right out of the mountain spring on the side of 11 w in Tennessee. They have a pipe that comes down the mountain right to the edge of the road and that's where alot of people get their water around there. I've never been by and not seen water running out of the pipe no matter what time of year we are down there.

My water goes thru my well pump, whole house filter, softener, and as a final precaution it goes thru my coffee filter. And I rinse my mouth with it after brushing teeth.

From my understanding, purified water us shit water, literally. Comes from waste water.

Also, does anyone know what I'm talking about with the alkaline?

All municipal waste water is treated and put back into the system, often a river, which flows down stream to the next municipality that uses it. I will say I know that often the water from a waste water treatment plant in cleaner than the river, stream, lake that it is going back into.
