What's your favorite varmint gun? If I'm going out looking this is the one I grab. Remington 700 in .17 Remington. Stole the Leupold off it for the new .22 so put this target scope on it.
Older pic. The .17 is in the case. The yote was a decent night time shot.
Ruger 77 in .243 58 grain hornady v-max. There’s some threads in the varmint thread on groundhogs that show the carnage….

I have a new in the box Remington 700 22-250 with a 4x12 scope I'd like to trade for another bolt gun Deer rifle

This target has a little of everything. The large diamond on the right is ten shots of the SK. The rest is a mix of Remington golden bullet, thunderbolts,yellow jackets and vipers. Still at 35 yards but sitting in a bag chair using stoney point shooting sticks this time. Like I said before I'd like to have a real rest to lock this thing in. It seems to like everything but the Winchester 333 I tried the first time.
They all look minute of squirrel head to me. Mine doesn't care for the winchester wildcat 22s. The golden bucket ones seem really dirty but shoot adequate. CCI standard velocity is the fanciest I've run through it but I do have a few fancier boxes of standard velocity stuff, the wolf match and a few others sitting for some day when I want to see how small of a hole I can make.
My custom 10/22 prefers CCI sv over everything else including Eley target ammo. It has cycled everything I have fed it just fine, but I have gotten the best accuracy with CCI. Bentz chamber is a wonderful thing. Whenever I miss, I know for sure it ain't the gun. 
Out with the old, in with the new. These Bog tripods are pretty awesome. If you've considered one: do it. Damn fine piece of equipment. The Savage & Vortex combo on top of it make a nice pairing. Time to go after some tree rats!

Picked up a custom rifle yesterday from a guy. He had a very reputable smith in our area build it.
- 700 action in 6.5 Creedmoor
- lilja 24 inch 1-9 twist 6 groove heavy stainless barrel
- timney Calvin elite 8oz trigger
- boyds target stock
- gamma break
- leupold rail
He was getting about a 3/8 inch group at 100 yards with a hand load "recipe included". Can't wait to strap some glass on it and see what she does at distance.

This is a rifle i have wanted to find for a long time. Remington Model 8 .35 Remington. This one was manufactured in 1908.

I finally got some glass on this 700. I have shot or handled about everything out there and I have to say, the razor series is some seriously clear glass. Thank goodness for expertvoice and the 50% off vortex products. Can't wait to send some down range!
