death of a dream

Good advice Flutey! Better to be like a Fred Bear than a Fred Flintstone.

I'm curious about the anchor points Mark. This is my third archery season so I still have plenty to learn. I was always told not to change the anchor point. Some things your goal is to make it automatic or learn muscle memory. Are you sure he is telling you to use different anchor points?

wasnt telling me to use different anchor points , just showing me different anchor points that has worked for him and people he knows , trying to find out which ancor point works best for me

So is he teaching you vain tuning, vein tuning, or vane tuning because only one of those "vain/vein/vanes" applies to archery. And to boot, I still have no clue what "tuning" said vain/vein/vane would be as I have never in all my years heard such a phrase. I'm just trying to educate myself here because obviously I'm clueless...

you should know by now i dont pay attention to my spelling , i asked him little bit ago what the trick to better stabilizing the arrow was he was talking about , it was the helicoil vanes

vane tunning , tweaking , manipulating , its all meaning the same thing , to adjust vanes to create more spin the the arrow , the more spin the more stable it is in flight , which equals better accuracy , but you loose fps by gaining more spin

Gotcha. Like I said, I am no expert, but I don't mess with my anchor point.
