Dad and I were commenting last night that Day is too nice. We'd like to see a little edge and fire from him. He showed it in his on-field post-game comments. Buckeye Nation loves it, meanwhile TTUN reported about his "unhinged" comments

And we barely got the ball across the goal line over that open spot which is perplexing. Dodged a bullet there IMO.
I still tend to think that Day over thinks things and try’s to outsmart teams on crucial downs versus strap up, dig in and overpower and conquer. (Toughness I think Holtz is referring to).
Great game nonetheless and both teams have plenty to learn from it.
We should be thanking Lou Holtz for saying what he said. I tend to agree with him on the matter of toughness under Ryan Day, and maybe that little nugget of truth from Holtz came at exactly the right time and stung enough to actually motivate this team and the coaches. I have not watched the game, but I'm looking forward to it now.

My text and snapchat was blowing up yesterday with shit talking ND fans. The hate was real. Family, friends and even an old coworker. Mean bunch of do-good church folk. Maybe they are busy because it's Sunday, but I haven't heard from them today. Weird

That’s how he should be EVERY GAME, IMO!!! Like Jamie said and I firmly believe it, thanks to Holtz speaking the truth and giving Day and team some bulletin board material to wake them all TFU or we would looked unemotional and probably lost.
I sure wish McCord showed more moxie, confidence and swag cuz that bleeds and feeds into every player in the huddle and at time on the sideline. Hoping this game gave him some of it to build on the remainder of the season.
On a side note, his backup just has average speed and agility so I wish the commentators would quit stating that he does! On scrambles he’s lucky to get back to the LOS! Lmao But he does show some energy that Kyle lacks.IMO
ESPN college football final is on. They are talking about their third and final close finish game. We are 45 min into the program. They have discussed a female getting playing time in a college game. They are showing unranked teams. I may have missed it but I haven't seen any OSU/ND coverage yet. They are playing clips of the Oregon Duck mascot. They have a guy puking coverage. No Buckeyes. Buckeyes see no love.
