The ODNR could make bowhunter ed mandatory. They should.NBEF
It wouldn't make a difference people know where to shoot them and still choose to take shots they know are not high percentage. It's even worse now with the crossbows that are out now. Drones and dogs also make it easier for people to Take bad shots because they know they can find deer that they normally wouldnt. The ODNR could make bowhunter ed mandatory. They should.NBEF
Keep on preaching. We all have to lead by example if we want to make any difference. But there isn't a bowhunters qualification or anything, so it is up to us to keep preaching.
By qualification I was talking about being able to do it, not precision. Being a good shot also leads to shit/low percentage shots.Keep on preaching. We all have to lead by example if we want to make any difference.
Bowhunter education is not about shooting skill. It's about deer anatomy, shot placement, how broadheads kill, what to do after the shot and how to follow a blood trail. Proficiency with your weapon is purely your responsibility whatever the weapon is.
