Two evenly matched teams. Came down to the last minute. Solid QB versus a mediocre QB was the difference. I haven't seen stats but I bet they were pretty close. McCord chose to live and die with Harrison who has made him look better than he is the entire season. Never looked at Henderson wide open in the flat with 10-15yds open field. Could have been a 15-20 yard field, new set of downs, and 20-25sec to go. Ohio State WRs are amazing but they aren't miracle workers. Couple of turn overs and that was the major difference in the game.

Congrats to the team up north. This is where the fans can graciously accept the congrats or look like a-holes.

Honestly do not feel missing Harbaugh hurt them at all. I don't think there were many major decisions the interim coach was forced to make. He coached the game as an offensive coordinator no different than he would any other game. Just my 2 cents.

Great game, Ohio just came up short
Did they? Or did McCord just do what he does and collapse multiple times today? Don't get me going on the interception called a TD either. 4th and inches call to punt. We didn't come up short. We got outplayed by a team wanting to win more. A coach that didn't play it safe is celebrating. Good for them. Congrats to you fans too.

McCord sealed his status as the worst QB we've had in 2 decades today. Day is John Cooper ver. 2.0. We'd better get in that portal for a QB and for the love of God, can we get a former Buckeye player as our HC?!? Maybe we'll get lucky and someone will hire Day away from us and Hartline can step up. Or Vrabel comes home. Day ain't gonna cut it over the long run, so why drag it out?!?

Days conservative play calling and McCords two picks were what lost this game. Both should hit transfer portal.

Glad I left for deer camp right after Zinters injury knowing they’d use it as mojo and we’d fold like a headshot squirrel.🤣😂

Congratulations to the Victors! Your backup coach called a much better game than Day and THAT was huge. Aggressive over passive wins the majority of the time. Kudos to him👍🏻

The QB along with the coach are terrible. Been saying that all year. Day can't win the games that matter and the play calling was awful. The D played the worst game since ND.

Firing Day would be really, really dumb. Sure, Urban Meyer beat Michigan...but people seem to forget they were mostly BAD Michigan teams he was beating. People also seem to forget Meyer losing to teams like Purdue and Iowa and losing to MSU's backup QB at home with a roster that was positioned to make a run at back to back titles. Who are you going to get that will do better than Day? Look at the landscape of college football right now. Ohio State is in, what, the top 4 or 5 programs in the country? Last year they were a play or two away from beating Georgia and probably winning a title. He's lost to what has become an elite Michigan team that may win a title this year, and today's game was very evenly matched. Last year was a 1-score game late in the second half before Michigan hit a couple of big plays. Since 2020, this team has only lost to Alabama (playoff), Michigan, Oregon, and Georgia (playoff).

I'm questioning people's expectations if they think that means fire the coach.

To be honest my opinion is that Ohio State had errors (interception) and missed opportunities and Michigan did not. I would love to see third and fourth down conversion rates...I don't think OSU tried for any.

Other than the ND game they have not won a game that makes a difference. Day has not beat a team rank in the top 5 since he took over. You can say what you want about his record and the numbers are impressive just not impressive enough. Sure I will get all the shit about it, but if I were a betting man I would bet that he never wins the big game.

Preach. OSU finally has a decent regular season contender in their conference and people want the coach's head on a pike.

Ok, rabid OSU fans. let's fire Day. Then what? Who do you get to replace him? Not every coach wants a job like that no matter how good they are at coaching football.
