Beats the fuck out of sleeping on a thatch cot on a dirt floor, hoping I can hunt or catch my food for the day or go dumpster diving. After I haul my water and shit in a hole in the ground.....fuck sake lol!

Some of you never grew up on food stamps and it shows.....

Yeah those fuckers aren't my problem. I'm fortunate to be in a first world country but I'm not going to lessen my standard of life because someone else isn't. You're talking to a man who just the other day picked up 75 cents off the top of the gas station trash can that someone left for the homeless to find. Why? Because fuck em that's why, go be homeless somewhere else i have a property value to consider. BTW I gave it as an extra tip to a waitress that works to feed her family.

Just because things cost more doesn't mean you buying better quality. Also manufacturers make cheaper disposable crap because it is what the market demands.
Willing and able are also different. Many of us buy the best that we can afford and the product still isn't lasting. Growing up we never had new things but you could replace a motor on a drier for dirt cheap. Now you can't because it's the motherboards that go out. They cost the same as a new unit.

Recently opened a dozen mason jar lids~~ only 9 pcs in the box. Emailed them and received two 6.00 off coupons for lids.

47 years ago...🤣 My Mom pulled out a Cigarette that had a space between tobacco & filter. I mailed it in, complained and signed my Moms name to it. Yea...I Caught Hell when I told my parents. That is until 5 cartons came in the mail free! Then they thought it was funny! 🤔 WTF? 🤣🤣🤣. Write them! It might just pay off.

Tactacam responded. They just received the camera Monday. Pretty quick turnaround so I'm pleased with that. No mention of what the issue was or how it was fixed however. We'll see when it gets here.

Here's the issue I was having. The pictures are hazy. They said it was condensation behind the lense and to send it in. To me it looks like a light sensor issue setting the incorrect exposure but whatever. We'll see.

They obviously did something though.

FedEx sucks. Especially their weekend drivers. They’ll mark shit delivered so the heat doesn’t come down on them and then pawn it off on the regular driver. We’ve had it happen numerous times.
UPS pawns their delivery on to USPS and that’s a whole different fucked up scenario….
Welp shit showed up today. You are correct fed ex sucks. I had ordered some dog food from Chewy at about the same time. Well it was showing as still in Indiana so I emailed Chewy and asked them to locate my package. They basically said fuck it and refunded me my money. Said that the item was out of stock it was their mistake and apologized. Chewy’s package showed up with the Lowe’s order. 🤣😂🤣

I can think of three times that I have had packages from Amazon that did not arrive on time and I cancelled the order, got a refund only to have the package show up within a day or two. Nothing of great value, but it still makes me wonder how much do these companies lose in a year over missing or destroyed items? Has to be billions of dollars.

Of all the deliveries services that come here to deliver our goods, Fedex is definitely the worst and by a very wide margin. Three times in the last six months they have delivered my package to my next door neighbors, taken a pic of the item on their front porch and sent it to me. They are a bunch of fucking idiots next door and we are not friendly with them. They have not once answered the door when I saw them at home and went to get my package. The Amazon drivers are the second worst, occasionally leaving shit at the end of the driveway or out in the weather when they could walk it up to the front door, although that has not happened in a good while. We have had the same mail carrier for 23 years. She drinks a little, lol, but we get our mail most of the time.

UPS has always been the best, hands down. The UPS driver that normally delivers here now, and has for a couple of years, is a young woman. She is super friendly, loves our dogs, leaves them both a Milk-bone biscuit every time she leaves a package. If the dogs happen to be outside when she comes, they both usually jump in the truck if it is her to get their treat. They do not do that if it is different driver. Always puts our packages out of sight and out of the weather. She even called me one day because she had Next Day Air envelope with a check in it for a large enough amount of money that it required my signature. She forged my name on it for me and left it, but she could lose her job for that. That is good service.

It's gotten bad enough that if you go to do a refund on a missing item on Amazon it makes you wait 24 hours before you can submit it. Then gives you a whole host of tips like check your neighbors house and post on neighborhood social media. I do a refund the moment I can and usually the package shows up within a day or so. I'm not trying to be dishonest, I have a service level agreement with Amazon that wasn't met, I didn't choose this business model to operate my business they did. I am absolutely positive that Amazon has a contractual delivery success rate agreement with their cariers, if it isn't met then Amazon withholds a percentage of payment as penalty. If they cared they would fix it, If they don't care then why should I.

Ok here is my product issue. Bought these light bulbs about 2.5 years ago, 13 years yea right. This light is going bad and makes number 10, so far Lowe's has replaced them without issue.

To of my engineer buddies that were AF flight test engineers. When getting thier masters in EE or ME they both told me the thing most of the companies conglomerates etc, engineering case studies were based on is NOT how to engineer things to last as long as possible, but to have them statistically NOT fail until past the 'products specified engineered fail time' then fail within a measurable satiistically provable time afterwards.

I.e., designed to fail.

13 years based on 3 hours per day which is 593 days continuous burn. I had a feeling I was replacing them far more than that but I have probably 50 can lights in this house so it was hard to remember. I've started writing the date on bulbs that I've replaced.
