I've only had one fawn, so far. Oodles of does everywhere. Pretty sure this one will be a dandy .....

I seen my first fawns today and they were triplets. They were standing in a cut wheat field with their mom. That's the first time I've seen a set of triplets in the wild.

Got pics from a guy with quads... didn't believe it till I seen the pictures. Had triplets behind the old house for a few years straight.
Saw about a half dozen roadkill fawns on our way back from SC. Didn’t see any live ones down or back.

Down there they ALL look wee tiny….This morning, I did see a dead fawn on S.R. 117, just west of S.R. 67 and it was a wee little feller. Couldn't have been more than a week or two old.
I walked right up on one this weekend. I got out of the truck and started to walk a brush line and got blown at almost immediately. And then kept getting snorted at constantly for the next 30 to 40 seconds. I yelled at her to give it a rest already.
I started looking at the berries in the brush for next season, walked around the side of one and saw the littlest fawn all curled up under an oak tree maybe fifteen feet away. It was watching me but never moved.
I backed out and went back to the truck. Berry scouting can wait for a week or two.

Another set of twins. Think this is the doe I was getting pics of only one fawn so she either picked one up or it was staying off camera at the right times.
