She was in much better spirits this morning, minus hating the dreaded plastic cone. One dose of meds made a big difference!

Had a beagle that got into it with a cat, big abscess on her neck. She had a high fever by the time I got her to the vet. He made an incision and squeezed out the puss that was in there. Flushed it with peroxide and put a wick in it, which was a length of gauze he shoved into the hole. Gave me antibiotics and said see you in a week. Total cost was less than $150. Man have times changed in veterinary medicine…..
