I don't eat them. PoisonWhich brings me to a question. Whole grains, rice, etc. What are you guys doing in that area? I've largely been avoiding it but I can see where some natural grains are beneficial.
She does a 5:15 am workout and that was the trainer/leader that day. She doesn't have a personal trainerShe needs a new trainer.
I’ve been using the mashed up pork rinds as well. The last meatloaf I made had them in it.Meat, Eggs, Fish and Cheese. I have added some sauerkraut periodically since I read that some fermented foods are good for your digestion, plus I like it. If we want breaded fish, I mash up pork rinds and season them to taste before dipping them in egg and frying them in coconut oil.
I’ve been steering clear of them altogether.Which brings me to a question. Whole grains, rice, etc. What are you guys doing in that area? I've largely been avoiding it but I can see where some natural grains are beneficial.

Cool, you do you. All things are alright in moderation. But for right now, I'm not eating them. (Well, once I get back home )Oh come on now i wouldn't go that far. Man and beast have been eating wild oats , seeds, and grains, for as long as they've been on this earth. Post agricultural revolution I believe we eat far far too much of them, especially the heavily processed ones like white flour. if we were to take a page from the paleo book, It recommends to never eat more than a prehistoric human could naturally gather in the wild. To me that says more than a handful, and sparingly. A small bowl of stone ground oatmeal with some fruit can't be all that bad.

I had been wondering the same thing but the longer I’ve followed I came to realize I already knew the answer based on most cutting out carbs and processed foods. We tend to eat breads though so I did my own search on alternatives that were healthy(ier). I’ve been getting a brand called Dave’s Killer Bread that is 100% organic, non GMO, gluten free, no dyes, no artificial flavors, no bleach (in so called “white” bread), etc. Looking at the ingredients there are no chemicals whatsoever.Which brings me to a question. These are my go-to.Makes sense. They're not that hard to avoid if you're avoiding processed grains anyway. Because let's face it who TF wants to eat raw oats and grains anyway. Now some brown or wild rice, that one may be harder.
How about nuts for you guys, walnuts, pistachio, almonds, pecans etc?
I try to eat a small serving of them when it's a part (something over rice or mashed taters) of the meal and generally try to avoid them as add ons to the meal (biscuits, garlic bread, etc) I call it keto inspired.Which brings me to a question. Love me some pistachios and the seasoned almonds, and walnuts.Makes sense. They're not that hard to avoid if you're avoiding processed grains anyway. Because let's face it who TF wants to eat raw oats and grains anyway. Now some brown or wild rice, that one may be harder.

The game itself is a great distraction. The game breaks on the other hand are borderline torture. Every single one has at least one food or restaurant commercial! Food on TV has never looked so good!Currently on hour 28 of a fast. Coffee, water, and unsweetened iced tea only today. I feel good but man I am hungry right now. It’s not helping that I was Googling ‘carnivore air fryer recipes.’ I really need this Cleveland-New York game to start so I can distract my mind!
