This is what I did to the Kel-Tec I bought from Phil. I am thinking about getting this one from Jackalope. You know 2 is 1 and 1 is none. I bought 3 more 30 round mags and 3 - 17 rounders. Next will be a Glock 17. So another Kel-Tec. May be a good choice too. We will see how long this Queen sets...

Here is how I would cure the problem. Take the wife out on a joy ride. About the time she starts rocking the boat just go ahead and dump it. Then blame it on her. Now she will either set still or let you go out and enjoy your canoe trips alone. LOL

I used speed dip mixed with Coleman white gas. on them. They kind of looked crappy but they didn't rust i guess. I used the same stuff on some Conibear traps. I didn't like it because it made them to slick. They wouldn't stay set I had to scrape it off all the triggers.

ACK took me out on his trapline a couple years ago. He caught a couple coon in dog proof traps that he had made. He used old stinky carp for bait. Just cram it down in there. I tried to use marshmellows. Didn't catch any coon. Now marshmellows are the #1 bait for a box trap.
