I love using boats to access spots. We’ve been doing it since I first started hunting and my first deer came via a boat ride to a hard to reach spot. Over the years (especially recently) more people are doing it, but not everywhere. It seems like if it’s an easy access launch there’s pressure...

It was just blowing and raining sideways here for about 15 minutes. Now the sun is back out and there’s barely a breeze. Wild stuff we’re experiencing this summer.

This spring I planted a 4’ strip of wildflowers to create a border along my archery range and dog training area. Some of the sunflowers are just starting to open and the wildflower varieties are really starting to pop.

I’m sticking with my normal jogging routine. No more fast, cutting movements for now. We’ve got some camping plans coming up and I do not want to miss out on those.
