    We had 4-5"s then it turned into freezing rain. About 1/2" of ice onto of the snow then another inch ontop of the ice. Think I'd rather had the 12-14"s they was calling for

    It is rare in other areas! But in the area I was in its really not. I've jumped as many as 8 in one afternoon.

    I just jumped 3 grouse today. Not unusual for the rough ground I was on. I could've shot 2, or tried to anyway. Third one jumped way ahead of me. I saw a "flock", if that's what it's called, of quail last weekend running down the gravel road I was driving on. First time I've ever seen that...
