Not a drop until we found where he bedded down. I think when he laid down it opened it up because there was quite a pool underneath him.

It was a little forward of where I thought I hit him. Went right through the left shoulder.

Wondering everyone's opinion on trying to call deer in post rut. Lots of different opinions online. I haven't had much luck calling deer this year pre rut, during the so called rut, or the past few days. Only been hunting for a couple years so any advice would be great!

10 hour sit. 1 doe at 80 yards around daybreak. Hopefully tomorrow is more eventful.
