Got out for a couple days with Nate on LSC. Nonstop E winds and dirty water made it tough, but we found em. Nate’s first trip there, he’s hooked. Most fish were in 6-8’, water clarity didn’t seem to make a huge difference. Mostly 3-4 pounders with a couple just shy of 6#. Small swimbaits...

Got out to “the islands” for just a couple hours this afternoon before the E wind blew in. Only took a pic of the first fish, landed maybe a dozen smallies. Nothing over 4lbs or picture worthy lol. Caught a couple shit heads too. Was nice to fish barefoot today 😂

Between school, work and clinicals I knew my turkey time was gonna be limited this year. Possibly my shortest season ever with about 2 hours total hunting time.
