I’m in once again. Likely my last hunt of the season. Hopes are mediocre at best but I didn’t have anything better to do other than sit where it’s warm and drink beer. Wind is blasting me in the face, so at least that’s blowing the right direction I suppose lol.

Didn’t see shit lol. New neighbor was out cutting trees and burning stumps up until almost dark. Have a feeling these new people next door aren’t gonna help with killing deer.

Had 3 mature does come through. All were within range at one point or another, but the lack of cover, 3 sets of eyes and their nervousness made it impossible to draw. They never stopped at the bait either. I could’ve sent a Hail Mary at 60 but figured that probably wasn’t a good idea 😂
