    Gravel for Driveways

Up here (limestone quarries) 57's and 411's are essentially the same size... Difference is 411's contain the dust (57's + #10's) and the 57's do not. Same thing with 34's and 304's... 34's are a mix of #3's and #4's, while the 304's are a mixture of #3's and dust (#10's). If you need some...

    Hard to find bourbons...

Just finished the last pour remaining from my bottle of Blanton's. 'Tis a sad day on the homestead....

    Lake Erie Charter fishing

I totally understand that approach, Chad. I would likely be the same way if I were in your shoes. I also wonder how many people go on these charters that end up buying their own boat(s). Surely a portion of them do. I bet a lot find out pretty quick that, even with the record population...

    Gravel for Driveways

IMO your two best options are: 1 - Stick with 57's and just deal with the dust, or 2 - Go with the tar/chip seal that Jamie mentioned. I'll be doing the gravel portion of my driveway this summer with fresh 57's. The smaller gravel packs a little tighter, but rocks stuck in tire treads is...

    Lake Erie Charter fishing

I don’t disagree that the economy has a lot to do with it. But I’d be willing to bet there’s more charters running on the lake than there’s ever been too. Everyone is a walleye expert when there’s this many fish in the system. lol.

    Pines falling SE Ohio

Excess soil moisture plus high winds = No bueno. Could be that, could be any number of causes. Nature does what nature does.

    Tow rig/daily driver

I’m optimistic this new truck isn’t going to Giles me and leave me stranded.

    Tow rig/daily driver

Exactly why I’m still on the fence about my ol Ford. I might just keep it so I have a beater. This new truck is too nice… I’m afraid to do anything with it.

    TOO Homesteading

Dang, that would irritate the heck out of me. Do you have a rooster? (Yea… I know, probably a stupid question. lol)

    A really high 8!

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 times… Eight pointers with frames like that one are more impressive than any other deer in the woods. That mount looks great. Heck of a deer.

    Tow rig/daily driver

That’s a tough looking truck no matter what running boards are on/off it! Nice rig, Clay.

    Tow rig/daily driver

Thankfully this truck has a rubber liner package already installed, covering the entirety of the carpet in both the front and the rear of the cab. Rubber floors and/or husky liners are a must for me… so that was a welcomed selling point with this particular truck.

    Tow rig/daily driver

I’ve had really good luck with a couple sets of seat covers on work trucks from Coverking. Neoprene. They aren’t cheap, but they last and they fit amazingly. That’s probably the route I’ll go, unless someone refers me elsewhere.

    Tow rig/daily driver

It’s got a spray-in bedliner, cargo LEDs in the bed, lights and cameras all around it. It’s ridiculous. I could change my mind over time, but as of right now I don’t think I’m gonna put a cap on this truck. Next on the list will be custom fit seat covers and a tonneau cover of some kind. I’m...

    Tow rig/daily driver

I always thought my next truck would be an F250 Superduty. My family bleeds blue… multiple Ford retirees in the tree. I also never thought I’d buy a brand new vehicle. But dang it, the looks and the quality of these new GM HD trucks was just too good to ignore. Thanks again @5Cent for...

    Cookware?

Flip yours over and have a look. This little flat spot at the base of the handle is a telltale Wagner characteristic.

    Cookware?

I’ve got a 1920’s-1930’s Wagner cast iron skillet that is my go-to piece of cookware. I’ll have to try some of that Wagyu tallow. Rendered duck fat is also an awesome option, especially when frying pork chops for some reason. My skillet has a really good seasoning on it from a lot of...
