First time back on here since last year. Glad to see some guys seeing some action. Rutcation starts this Friday through following week. Hoping I timed it right. With last years Indian Summer and 80 degree temps, thinking it will have to be better. Good luck all.

Whitetail deer are rumored to inhabit Muskingham county, but you couldn’t tell from the couple days I hunted gun season. I might as well have had a Sasquatch tag. Good luck to everyone who connected. Maybe they will be itching to move around in a couple of weeks.

Well, this is how my week of hunting ended Tuesday night. Down to last hour, 81 degrees and sweating. Wasn’t the big 10 I was after but to say it was a slow week was an understatement. Got some jerky.

5 pointer just casually walked through

Can somebody remind these deer it is November 8th. Hope I am not in for another slow sit. If that 3 year old 8 walks by again, may have a different ending.

Had a couple of 2 or 3 year olds come through 8:30. Couldn’t tell but older than yearlings. They were not together and in no hurry.

Squirrels only here

Ended up seeing 5 does and a fawn. None being the slightest bit trailed or harrassed by bucks. Scratching head.

If any of you happen to think about it, please remind me after muzzleloader to come back out here and shoot every last squirrel.
