I’ll be careful not to do anything stupid. This was the sunset just before we checked in to our hotel. I hate taking photos with a phone when I have two great cameras with me. Only way I can share photos with you fellas.

Day 2 and we are leaving Minnesota and getting ready to enter South Dakota. Tonight we will be staying just outside of the Badlands should have interesting things to photograph tomorrow.

Got a chance to run a few bolts through my Warrior today. Wanted to be sure it was on the money and ready to hunt with. Good to go. Glad to see the weather is going to remain on the warm side for a while. By the time I get home from my trip it should be go time. Can’t wait to get my butt in a stand.

Some how I put two shots up of the same 8 point.

To begin with this will be a late start for me this year. My first sit won't be before October 23 for sure. As of today,I have three, maybe four deer that I'll be most likely to take if I get the chance. No slobs, but four respectable bucks in my eyes.

Mine stays in my gun safe. I know the ranges to given spots from my stands. All are 25 yards or less, most are under 20. I only use my rangefinder if I'm hunting groundhogs with my rimfire rifles.

If I were you I'd try a couple of lip squeaks every hour or so while on stand. I do this quite often just to see if any varmints are close by. Has never, that I know of, affected my deer hunting. I've squeaked up both red and grey fox and one yote doing this. If you see a yote in the distance...

Everything is awesome. One can easily see you are addicted to the outdoors. Great displays.

I've not seen one yet. But, they are on my trail camera nearly every time I swap out cards. They have been pretty common at my property the last two years. I'd say a few more yotes than cats, but the cats are closing the gap.

Just walk in your post office and ask for the triangular Priority boxes. They are free and come in two lengths. I shipped both arrows and fishing rods in them before.

Joe, season is looking pretty good. The move is probably the best thing the wife and I could have done. Finally able to come and go without the concern of leaving and empty home for extended periods of time. Works the same way for my daughter and SIL if they leave for a week or two we are here...
