    Family catfish trip

Yes I did too. Those rods are MH rods that I mainly target flathead. It takes a pretty good pull to bury it down like that. I was disappointed when I saw him. LOL.

    Hard Bite Fooled me.. Twice

Head pieces are some of my favorites. Seems like the bigger fish like them alot. Skipjack is a really oily fish so it gives off a good bit of scent.

Millie the Dog First Catfish Trip

For the most part we almost always use cut fish of some sort. Shad, carp, bluegill, skipjack, bass, etc. Some days it seems like they have a preference and some days they don't. I use alot of bluegill as they are easy to catch and I have a pond not far from the house that I can always get them.

    Tinnitus

THey actually just changed the laws on hearing aids and you don't have to go to a doctor to get them. You can get them over the counter. I bought some Eargo 7 a couple of weeks ago and I love them. Pricey, but people can't even see that you are wearing hearing aids. Alot of cheaper ones, but...

Monster Channel Cat Broke my Rod

If it wasn't such a good channel cat I probably would have. I know one time I broke a rod when I had a snapping turtle on. I let the F bombs fly then.

    Pond Health

I don't think catfish are to blame for that being that muddy looking. Alot of small ponds have them in that and I have never seen that be an issue. They will muddy it some but that is during the spawn. Carp and turtles on the other hand are usually to blame. Small ponds are very suspectable...

Took longer than I thought for this thread to go that direction once siphoning was brought up. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That would do it. Or a whole bunch of garden hoses. :ROFLMAO:

    Pond Health

You could but you would need some decent size hose or pipe. I would guess that spring is making a decent amount of water especially this time of the year.

Not sure how long that pond has been in there but it may not be as deep as you think. Small ponds like that can fill in over time fairly quickly. Also if there was livestock or that field was plowed previously that can rapidly introduce alot of sediment. If you know someone that has a 2" pump...
