Athens Co. Big 0 here. Tried. Few grunts/bleats tonight. Heard a grunt back. Never saw anything but an army of squirrels.

Dead bucks between Columbus and Athens, along 33, increased dramatically today, since I drove to work on Thursday. No huntung for me as my wicked cough and snotty nose. Hope to get back into woods on Tuesday.

Athens/Morgan Small bucks getting wired. Cold weather has turned up action on bucks that had gone nocturnal, now moving earlier. Big challenge for me right now is winds and life/work schedule. One shooter I am really after. Sound Off!!

Been a different year for sure. Hunting a lot, not seeing rut. Have noticed past 2 days road kill bucks increasing Athens>Columbus. Deer out and about at noon today, bucks and does. I've gotten same report from 2 other hunters this am. Hoping rut just hitting late...
