    Climbing stand vs climbing sticks

I'm running the same stand and for the life of me can't picture how you are pulling this move off. Are you hanging from your harness and readjusting your straps? Call me a pu$$y, but I'd be scared out of my mind to detach my platform up in a tree. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Climbing stand vs climbing sticks

That sounds awesome. I like my stand, just hate the geometry I'm doing on the ground to adjust for the angle when I start (i.e. tilting way up at the bottom so it flattens out toward the top). Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Climbing stand vs climbing sticks

Sorry if this topic has been addressed already somewhere (I poked around a bit but didn't see it). I'm curious what folks prefer in regard to climbing stands versus climbing sticks and a strap on stand. A little background on my setup and spot, I hunt private land and part of the deal is I leave...

    Looking for broadhead recommendations

Asking a hunting forum for their preference in broadheads is like asking a forum of dudes their preference in women. You're going to get some universal alignment in a few fundamentals and some pockets where people are into something similar, but overall you'll find a neverending debate...

Food and drink in the woods?

Funny follow-up to this, shot my buck this year as I was grabbing for my pb&j (at the recommendation of everyone on this thread). I like to bow hunt, but like it a hell of a lot more with food and drink! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    End of Nikon scopes

Indeed. I own a handful of their scopes and always found that bang for buck (no pun intended) they were hard to beat. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Bear Creek Arsenal

I picked up a 300 blackout upper from them. It's not your super high end components, but the fit and function where great. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Worth the risk to carry?

Imho, I haven't found a carry gun out there that can beat the Glock 26 overall. It's not a super sexy gun (unless you're a Glock guy), but as far as checking the boxes on attributes people look for in a carry gun (size, weight, capacity, reliability, versatility) it checks every box. Others out...

    Worth the risk to carry?

Personally, for a carry weapon I'd spend the extra money on the tried and true offerings out there. There are so many rock solid, reliable carry guns on the market now (glock, springfield, sig, s&w, ruger, etc) that you can get for decent prices. What you are looking at may end up being a decent...

    Gunsmith Suggestions

I'm following you. I like a contrasting color from the target that jumps out, like a neon orange, green, red (although I tend to lean towared orange or red because green is harder for me to see when shooting outside with all the trees and plants). On the factory sights it seems like for me the...

Yeah, not a big fan of what they come with. They are plastic and the rear is just a little too noisy for my taste with the white outline.

No worries fellas. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. Funny thing is the camera really did some optical illusion and made them way worse than what they are. I'd post a pic of what they really look like but I don't want to put anyone over the edge.

Front sight was cake. Rear took a little massaging and I didn't think I was ever going to get that sucker centered, but all in all not bad. Less than an hour.

So for $25 on amazon I was able to nab a front sight tool, urethane pads for my vise, and nylon drift punches. I think I just solved my problem.

I was thinking about them or kames because they are both a lost closer to me than Alliance.
