I've always worried about this too, especially with mechanical broadheads. Solution is I cut a small hole out to shoot through without compromising yourself by opening up the whole window.

The plastic pos it comes with bent on my first time I pulled off the mag. Picked up an aluminum replacement and it's running like a champ.

At West Branch 45 mins before legal light and the main lot was full to the gills. More shooters than birds.
