Yup.... I do the same. I grind mine twice. The second time is when I add the pork or beef fat. Also the second time through it goes through a finer grinding plate....

One of the positives to storing it in a fridge for a few days is that the fat cools off and solidifies. Making its removal much much easier and quicker.

    13 seconds.............

It's one thing to beat a guy who just talks.... but it's a whole other story beating a guy who talks, and believes every word of it with his entire being..... Connor is deceiving on how fast he is.. he is long and lanky and I think that's what makes him look slower than a guy like aldo...

If u look up the parts, it's cheaper to build one than it is to buy one of comparable size and functionality... then, your not paying for a name brand as well.... and when it comes time to replace parts, you know where and what to krder. Based off of where u bought ur stuff.

Not only are they more rare to find but they are in higher demand from taxidermists in general. It's what is used most for competition mounts since it shows definition and looks a lot cleaner.

For a good early season cape it is. To get a cape from a deer that was killed after like nov 1 would be like 40 bucks.... early season capes are expensive as hell....

    What would be your plan?

Do you think lowering herd numbers had anything to do with the increase in large deer sightings or just a coincidence that there appears to be a larger number of large deer sightings and large deer harvests this year?

    The Butchering Thread

I mean I don't look forward to it.... but I also know it needs done and it's part of harvesting a deer. It's been that way since the very first deer I shot in 1995 when I was 11..... it's something I have always taken pride in..... also, it gives me reassurance that my hide will not be messed up...
