Last year I was in blind 15 deer came out to corn it was unbelievable .

Got our target picked out for the rest of the season. This doe is ancient and she's impossible to kill. Ruined many 'a hunt in her day, too. Game on!
If you look closely, you can see my stand at 12 o'clock right above her ass end. This will be a fun challenge.

Look at the body on her!! Wow. The one I killed opening day of gun reminds me of her. Gutted clean, and still weighed 121 lbs!!

Deer are amazing foragers. All that acreage to choose from, and they literally ate a circle through 5" of snow to find the highest density of the corn that was concentrated around the path I walked while spreading the last batch.
Makes you wonder why you waste time and energy on putting in plots.
Mainly because I enjoy the process because the results have been terrible. I grow gorgeous, magazine-worthy plots on an annual basis and the deer rarely feed in them. Too much ag, mast, and browse for them to become a big draw. I'm about to give up on greens and start planting forage beans and corn. Just grow my own bait...
