We'll see how next week treats the doe herd, but things look good for Tracie continuing the streak and I may be able to fill my last tag without remorse.

My guess is this is 4 different family groups off roughly 200 acres.

For you aspiring master baiters, take note. There's 100#s per week spread over an 1/8 acre clover plot. It's tight to cover and the change in topography, with a strip of brush above it, makes them "invisible". Access for our hide is nearly flawless. There's levels to this game 😂

Mainly because I enjoy the process because the results have been terrible. I grow gorgeous, magazine-worthy plots on an annual basis and the deer rarely feed in them. Too much ag, mast, and browse for them to become a big draw. I'm about to give up on greens and start planting forage beans and corn. Just grow my own bait...
