2012 Arrow Selection

I've shot Easton arrows from day one like Jesse. The Easton Jazz Alum were my first arrow. I shot easton XX75 camo hunters up until I switched to carbon. I've messed around with Carbon Express they just are not as durable. I'm shooting the FMJ's for hunting and Axis for 3d this year. I've played around with Beman's they are a good hunting arrow if your not a snob like myself. BTW the Beman ICS Hunter Pro's are a sick looking arrow.

I'm hunting with some cedar shafts this year instead of carbon. I think they fly way better. Cedar Shafts, 55-60lb, full length, 135 grain points/ broadheads. With helical fletched, shield cuts feathers. 2 yellow and 1 natural turkey feather...

I was watching this weeks heartland bowhunter and they a doe with quick fletches and it ripped the vanes and wrap completely off except for the front end

So, are there any of these "quick fletch" types that hold up well and perform good? I have some arrows to get fixed up and was thinking about these types if I could find some good ones...

just don't expect much out of them..they are adequate probably for most people but expecting the world out of them would be foolish. they have limitations.

Gotcha, not looking for some miracle or anything... Just thought they may work well and then I could repair my own arrows without all the equipment. Not worth it if the quality isn't as good or better than standard fletching....

Definitely not better than standard fletchings IMHO.

Got the new arrows fletched up today. Easton ST Excel .300's, 3 white Rayzr feathers on top of a custom 5" Skeeter Creek reflective wrap.

I'm still getting used to this Arizona EZ Fletch jig. This was the first set of arrows I've fletched with it. It was easier than using the Bitz, and put a much better helical on them, IMO.
