Good finds Seth! Now get ya some monkey butt and get back out there!

I coated my butt checks with neosporin and got back out this morning. The roads were covered with ice, but it had not started snowing yet. I couldn't resist, I had to go. I was going to find some sheds, or die trying. It was icing hard and freezing on my glasses, hat and everything else. Found the first one right next to someones salt block, and the second one at the top of a south slope.

Stumbled across this dead head. Had some pics of this buck in velvet. Now i know what happened to him . Must have been dead for a while as his antlers where extremely soft.

Other Seth checking in..I have found 10 so far this year, 7 fresh. Only 3 since feb 1st and they all were last thurs, nothing to write home about-spike to 3 point. I can spot the small ones so hopefully some nicer ones fall into my lap here soon. I walked at least 15 hours in the last two weeks. Hard hunting down here in the southern part of the state, they are dropping them all in the thick stuff. I never can find any in the open timber either. I dont know what the deal is. Wish me luck, pics too come when I have some more worth showing, my biggest this year is 64".
