Walked halfheartedly for about 3 hours today, and found what was left of last years shed. Would have been a big boy. All chewed up, still glad to find. Still too early in my area in hopes to find much.

Wow! Your buddy has awesome access to some great shed hunting. Having access to prime bedding and feeding locations is very beneficial to a shed hunter. Myself included,am very blessed to some great areas to shed hunt. You can't find them, if they ain't there! Lol. Congrats to your buddy MB.

these propertys are very close to tranquility wildlife area.

Yep, Adams Co. is the Pike Co. Illinois of Ohio. Whenever I drive thru it my head is on a swivel, especially this time of year.
That chocolate set in the center is of world class IMO
