That is a narly looking shed, might be one to watch for next year. Diablo and i went out today and found probably the six smallest sheds in the county haha. When it comes down to it though the feelings the same when you see those tines. Just gota keep on keepin on
Saw one packing both sides tonight. Will get out for a few hours tomorrow between work. The 10 inches of snow in the forcast is dam depressing. Tomorrow may be my last chance to look until April.
Did a one hour look today. Heard my dad yelling "hey hey!!!! Found one!"
He actually found both today, but the first one got the yell out of him. Looks like its from a possible mainframe 11 or 12 point with the busted sticker off the G2.
Here's the ATL pic of both finds.
Here's Klay holding the bigger one right after the find.
Got out for a short walk. Would have loved some time to really check things out. After moving firewood all morning, I need to rest some before the snow tonight and tomorrow. 1hr quick hike is all I had time for. At least I am on the board. Left the spike dead head lay. Picked up a youngster's half though.
Great day Mike! That's a dandy shed!
Congrats Dennis and Phil. Glad to see your both on the board.
Sorry to hear that no sheds were found Brock. At least you all got some good exercise.
Probably be a week at the minimum before I get back out. Going to have a fresh coating of snow and below freezing temps for at least another week. Bummed, but not as bummed as if I never made it out today.
You guys are cranking out some good numbers. Keep up the good work!
Well thanks Brock! I did an ass load of walking today. More so than I like this early. It's great exercise and Lord knows that I need it. I found 3 good freshes, 2 of which were my first matched set.
Walked 11 miles today in between setting up for a banquet this morning and working it this evening. I'm so chaffed right now it hurts to sit down. I found two sheds and a small dead head, my buddy found another small deadhead. The larger shed is from a shed of a deer I also found last year. It didn't grow much in a year, just added mass.
