I have been following this fella for quite a few years now. His predictions have been fairly good in the past. I usually start hitting it harder on Oct 26 no matter what.

Verification for what I planned on: Late October thru first week in November. Sounds like there might be some earlier pre rut cruising this year though.

What's a "rut"? Seems every year it gets more spread out. We had pictures of doe getting bred into March, and pics again of doe getting bred in September... It's mid October and guys are killing bucks that are busting points off already. It seems to me that "the rut" gets less and less exciting every year and it all depends on the specific property you are on.

Oh I had it out, once I first saw him at 35 yards I started crunching acorns, he stopped on a dime at 40. I keep that fugger on a lanyard around my neck.
