A buddy and I hit a small stream for brown bass on Sunday. The water was a little up and off color (for this stream, it's usually very clear), and COLD. We wadered up after briefly considering wet wading. The fishing was tough, but I got my first smallie of the year. We only caught one each. I also spotted a nice dead head along the stream.
