Things are heating up in my neck of the woods.

Rubs, scrapes, and deer are few in Jeffco. Passed on an 8 Friday pm at 13. Had him trailing a doe this morning at 15 right under me. No harm issued.

Got tons of pics and videos of smaller bucks dogging does around the plot and tons of daylight movement here in Geauga County

Got awesome daytime pics on 11/8. Of course I left at 11 am and came back at 2:45. Big buck was on cam in same area. 1:30... saw a single buck dogging in a field this am on my way home from work. Along 33.

Finally seeing good rut activity in central Ohio, south east corner of knox county. Last three days deer moving a lot during daylight and saw some chasing yesterday.

Seen plenty of deer, but no real rut activity in Athens county.

It's amazing what a 3 or 4 hour drive time does for rut. It feels like it's been kicking forever in the north. I'm watching for the downhill slide now....

My trail camera card pull from today said there have been a decent number of horny bucks and hot does in the last two weeks. Real big boy cruised thru this morning. I'm done though and just wanted to swap the card before it filled up.

I hunted till 1130 today never saw a deer not even while driving. I’m back out in a hay bale blind over a food plot now and it’s been sleeting for the last half hour. We have seen some movement but not the hard core rut, who knows it’s been perfect weather.
