Nothing today. But had a yote within 75 yards of me barking and yipping at me and my dogs. My one dog took off after it. Thankfully he came back unharmed.
Time to carry the rifle with you...
Went for a walk behind the house for a few hours with Kristi and Skye (Boykin Spaniel) Saturday. Found this one, but couldn't find the other side. We were going to go back yesterday, but it will have to wait until the snow melts.

I logged just a tick over 3 miles and struck out. Great day to be out walking around the woods though. It was good training for turkey season if nothing else lol
I got some mud on my boots. Found nothing. Got drenched and cut it short. I was going to sit at home and do a podcast about how to find sheds and then get a booth at the Deer and Turkey Expo telling people how to hunt. I'm not a poser though. I just went out looking.

I think I may give it a go tomorrow...been waiting to be sure that most are shed before looking.
I walked from 7:45-2:30 and got skunked. I know many are still holding but I’m still trying to find a few that have shed. They must have dropped on property I don’t have access too.

Spent a couple hours out today...no sheds, just a doe skull and some decent rubs.
#8-#11 today. Buddy found 2 as well. My OnX tracker says I walked 9 miles.

I found this nice shedded deadhead a few weeks back and have been looking high and low for the sheds. I’m sure it’s a year old but the sheds have been either found or he dropped them much further way from his final resting spot.

Another dink the gnawing critters found before me last week as well.
Here’s my only find this weekend. Found it today and there was some light gnawing as well. It appeared to have laid there for several weeks as wax ring was long gone as well.
