I'm gonna go against the grain and say tomorrow will be a blowout. I feel the weather, the moon and the last few weeks have aligned for a complete steam roll. Don't fail me now boys!

I would sure freaking hope so. In Phil style.
1. It's Penn St.
2. OSU has an 84% win odds percentage.
3. The spread is +18.4 points.
4. Osu Avg +120 yards more per game than Penn
5. Did I mention that its just Penn St?

It's laughable to even be concerned. This would be like saying Arkansas has a shot at beating LSU tomorrow. But then again, given the history OSU has with the lackluster team's over the years I can somewhat understand the hesitance to be all in.

I don't usually say much on this thread. But come on Joe. Similar to the SEC almost any team in the Big10 can play lights out and beat a 3 score favorite.

It would be like South Carolina beating Georgia. It wasn't too many years ago when Alabama got a little gun shy when a non ranked ole Miss would come to town. Don't get me wrong that wasn't the Alabama team of the last few years but you know anything can happen in conference play.

Indeed It can happen. OSU has yearly experience with it, so I can understand anticipating the other shoe to drop. However, usually when that happens its because a team beats itself. Sure the other team is good but that's not enough, you also have to be sucking. I don't see OSU doing that. They've got their shit wired on tight and I'm not seeing any glaring flaws. Chase is going to hit the field hungry, that boy is going to come off the line with something to prove, which is going to be spectacular because he's already lights out. That'll fire up the defense. Add in that Penn is weak on the longer pass coverage and you guys will be just fine. Minn last week averaged 17 yards per pass and went 18 for 20 in completions. That's 90% for 17 yards per pass!! That is the ONLY stat that Minn was positive over Penn on. Stat wise Penn St whipped up on Minn but they still ended up losing.

PSU DID beat Minnesota. Did I misread what you wrote?

My only thought would be IF OSU overlooks PSU and is thinking ahead to Mich. I don't think this will happen. I'll stick with a couple score victory (playing it conservative.) Hoping Adam is right and we blow them out making an exclamation mark going into final week of the regular season.

OSU by 18-20. This isn’t an urban Meyer coached team. Less penalties and conservative play calling. Ryan Day will have the young men ready and the fans will be amped up. Chase will have another great showing. I still wonder why Borland and especially Werner get so much playing time. Both are slow to react, take the wrong angles and just slow period.
If we stumble it’ll be because of TO’s as they are the greatest equalizer.
Michigan will give us a better game next week, IMO.
GO BUCKS......... O-H.........

this game hyped up more than it should be, but that's college football. It's Senior day at the Horseshoe, likely the last game at home for Dobbins and Young, too. Silver Bullets with Chase Young back and hungry make it a long day for PSU's very average offense. Buckeye offense keeps running like a well oiled machine. 42-17 Sean Clifford will spend half the day on his back.

I like the spread. I was thinking more 24 - 55.

Ugly. Left 2 TD on the board in the first half. Got the fumbles in second half. Came out with a win against a solid PSU. Might be just the wake up call the Buckeyes needed. Will need to tighten it up before next weekend. First real challenge? Or is next weekend the first real challenge?

Like I said earlier before the game, TO’s will determine how close this game will be. You can’t fumble the ball going in on the 1 foot mark and fumble in or near your own red zone and expect to maintain momentum or blow anybody out! Imo, shouldn’t have been that close but give PSU credit, they did what they had to do to be competitive. Next up THE GAME, better clean some shit up cuz the the atmosphere up nort will be crazy.
