Sorry to read this Sgt and Blan and all. Sounds like it is hitting more people than I had previously thought.
It’s funny that a few weeks ago I didn’t know anyone personally that had it...now after weeks of lockdown, everyone is getting it. I’m hoping that the lockdown did what it was supposed to do...buy some time to get the hospitals stocked with everything they needed. I’m guessing when they lift the lockdown, we are going to see a huge spike in the number of people that get it. By next fall we should have “herd immunity” but unfortunately many with compromised immune systems and other underlying health conditions, along with the elderly are going to pay a heavy price.

The hits keep coming....just found out that my brother has congenital heart failure. One of his valves isn’t working. He’s being released from the hospital Monday and will have to go to Philadelphia for heart surgery. Don’t know how soon they are going to do the procedure. ON top of that, the MIL has dementia, broke her hip last week when they took her back to her house to pick up some stuff (I was against her going as she is pretty feeble, but I was overruled and she ended up missing the chair she was trying to sit on and fell). It’s been pretty rough on the wife. The MIL was living with us for the past couple months and my wife was a prisoner in our own home. She requires 24 hour supervision and after her therapy, I believe the wife is going to put her in a nursing home so that she can get the care she needs. At least the Rona seems to be fizzling out...the wife and I are almost back to 100%.
