Spikes are happening around the world, people are spending time indoors again. It's something we are going to have to deal with but you cannot hide your life away in the basement. Seems all the democratic governors are threatening shutdowns again, Dewine is a closet D.
well, my wife is the gardener and the baker, and I'm certain that she could.
I'm the forager, killer, butcher and head chef. I'm sure that other stuff would be above my pay grade.
For eight months we've had a average R0 of about 1. So the virus hasn't gone away. When are we going to demand that someone release a vaccine? Masks and sheltering haven't done it.

I'm not sure you would be a statistic. But for older folks, the risk of becoming a statistic is greater without a vaccine.
And the benefit that additional trials provide is small compared to the known mortality figures.
Quite literally, there's no benefit to society, to continue testing, when 3-4% of folks who contract the disease die.

The hell with covid. Shit has cost me to start with a 3rd employer this year starting Monday and the loss of $3 an hour plus overtime since July. Ohio unemployment is a total joke and I still haven't received anything from the 3 weeks I was between jobs in July. Emailed 2 state reps, jim jordan, dewine, and even sent one to the white house about it. Crickets...
At this point with the fact it's so wide spread your not going to stop it and will do very little to slow it down. Just open the shit back up and get it over with. Chances are great that your going to get it at this point unless you plan on a self contained bunker for the next year.

this whole scamdemic hasn't been about saving lives since the end of March. wake up America. we are ALL going to be exposed to this bug unless we live out our days in a sterile plastic bubble. it's either going to take a couple years or as long as we tolerate our government dragging it out.
Found out Monday the owner of the building we work in has it. He was in all last week and woke up Saturday morning with a fever. Got tested and was told Sunday. All week I have came in and sprayed everything down just in case. Last evening I'm here working by myself and I hear the back door open, figured it was one of his workers. Nope, it was the owner coming in to work! Said 'covid crew coming in' joking. I couldn't get out of here fast enough. Sprayed everything down with bleach water this morning......hope it works. Must not know what self quarantine means.
There was a principals meeting this past Sunday for my wife's school system. Looks like they are going to treat each building separately over the next few weeks regarding cases. Luckily her school only has had 1 case and she has been face to face since day 1. That student that tested positive was a virtual student lol.
I on the other hand need to make the home office more comfortable. They were targeting 1/18 as the next possible return, but just bumped it to 4/1. Im happy with the precautions as its offices/cubicles, but dammmmnnnnnn.
