2019-nCoV (Coronavirus)

I have 2 brother in laws, 2 sister in laws and 3 nieces/nephews in quarantine right now. All adults lost taste and smell, but thats the worst of it. The kids are fine. Couple other friends my age have it/had it, no biggie. Then there is a fella I played high-school football with who is a high-school principal in the area. He's in better shape than most of us and was in the hospital on a ventilator for week. Home now and recovering but definitely seems like a trend to how much exposure you get (i.e. a glancing blow of a few droplets vs. being around someone for an extended period of time or walking thru someone's sneeze cloud).

At this point, anything is possible. Tracie said tonight that several of their patients on vents are bleeding from their eyes. WTF?!? She said their ICU looks like something from a horror movie. Only 3 patients out of the dozens vented have been treated and released. The rest have died.

Could it be from putting them on blood thinners since people are getting clots?

Man this sad. Really a terrible thing.

Usually don't look at this thread cause I'm just tired in general of hearing about this virus... But sitting here bored (should be in the woods) opened it up... Jesse sorry to hear about your wife's grandmother, wishing her a full recovery...

The wife is a nurse and has been tending positive patients and she woke up this morning fully symptomatic. We're in our employer's protocol.
Very sorry to hear this. Hoping it’s a mild case for her. Thankful for her and all that put it on the line to tend to Covid patients. Very, very difficult time for them and their families.

My cousin, who I have referenced many times here, sent me a video of a physician testifying before a senate hearing recently. He was promoting the use of Ivermectin. I urge you all to find that video. I don’t know if I can copy and paste it here. Keep in mind my cousin does not wear a tinfoil hat. She essentially saved my brother, mother and father’s lives by insuring they received proper treatment at OSU. She has three Masters degrees and is kind of a big deal in the medical world. Essentially, the doctor is begging the committee to push for the use of Ivermectin with case studies to prove its effectiveness.
