Same here, I’ll make the drive up a day or two early and be there for opening morning. Comradely and exercise is what’s on the schedule. I’ve got 2 in the freezer, if I get a 3rd it’ll go too the neighbor.
I hope to put my old Knight to some good use since I've done the 209 conversion, new scope, rings, open sights and custom paint job to it last spring.
Snowy weather would be ideal, but the weather forecast ain't showing it at this point. Still, if I haven't filled my buck tag by then, you can expect me to out with this hunting implement.

A few years ago I got a .54 cal flintlock. Haven’t killed a deer with it yet. Maybe if the weather cooperates(no rain) this might be the year.
Havent yet kill one with my cva 50 cal yet either. Looking forward to it.
I’ll be out in some capacity somewhere, looking for any deer with at least one antler 3” or longer on public 
I’d be afraid of scratching that thing.
Although everyone will know it’s you when you touch that thing off I suppose ill get trusty rusty out again. Got a tag and freezer space available.
I’ve got a long standing tradition with my old man. Hopefully he is healthy enough to make the trip. We will be adding another generation (Maddy) this year. January trip with the camper to Athens makes me smile
