Oh now don't get all sour. That was a shit game by both teams. One just managed to keep it close and pull it off in quadruple OT.
Agreed. Top seed teams don't have a game filled with penalties either. There's a LOT of cleaning up to do by both. At least your last 20 minutes was fun to watch. Lol
Saban proved once again why no other coach is even close to the caliber he is! The way his players step up and play to the end while opposing players and coaches take plays off or get conservative showed once again tonight regardless if this years team is as good as past powerhouses. When Auburn stopped them on the last 4th down with just 2 minutes left Bama should have never had the ball again! Auburn got conservative and Bama burned their TO’s and used great play calling, clock management and players stepped up and made the plays they needed.
Bama fans are lucky to have him and his attitude and persona that he rubs off onto his players.

Bama came back. I honestly only saw pieces of their game (which was mostly the end of the game.) Good for them. Sucks for Auburn.
I'm not sure I can get excited to watch the Buckeyes play again unless we get another shot at Oregon. It is what it is. Young team. Played a good season. Improved throughout the year. Just didn't dig down deep enough today. Not sure what else can be said.
Day still has to answer for a defense! First good defense and our offense couldn’t answer when it needed to.

24 scholarship players for OSU did not dress for this game. We're playing with our second and third string defense, several new faces on offense. Not that our first team defense was much better, but the Buckeyes are nowhere near full strength on defense.
And fuck all those players who "opt out" of playing in a bowl game that doesn't give them an opportunity to raise their stock. football is a team sport. finish the job for your teammates and coaches who supported you along your path to the NFL.

Basically my exact sentiments in the college football thread! And for the fans and the school itself. Without Ohio state football they wouldn't have the opportunity for the NFL

I was just being an ass. Everyone thinks their team should be in the championship game until they get beat down.
I think it’s quite evident especially after the TTUN schlacking that we weren’t worthy of the playoffs and I didn’t remember seeing any OSU fan posting that they should be in it.
Neither is Utah. Down so many DB's that they are playing a backup running back across from Jackson Smith Njigba
