Just heard one fire up again right where Mason is. It’s a long way from me across a big field so it’s hard to say but I’d guess even if he doesn’t kill it he will have a good story.

Back at it. Hoping to call one in for my cousin this time. We'll see what happens! 🦃

I got set up between 3 that were gobbling good on the roost. Got to within 100 yds of one. They’ve gone completely silent. There’s a hen(or a hunter) in the bottom below me. I’m guessing that’s where they went after fly down. Not sure what my next move is, maybe I’ll try to piss her off

Down in KY with Alex in Ky. Had one on the roost but he didn't want to play. Gobble Anon his own but never to a call. There was a mouthy hen down there but he didn't really pay her any mind either. One of those birds that insist on her coming to him. That's ok. We have time for him to get lonely.

Oops we did it again.
He played with out heart, got shot in the face.
Oh baby baby
He thought, he was in love.
Thought we were sent from above.
We're not that fucking picky.

Three came in over a rise and started to putt when they didn't see anything. As they decided to get out of dodge it became a "better shoot one now game" and it turned out to be a Jake.

Buddy and I got on the Jake train this morning as well. All was quiet after fly-down, then around 7:15 I hear a faint cluck/whistle off to my right... I immediately think “Turkey.” Sure enough, here come a hen and 3 jakes making a b-line for the decoys, just 10 yards away. When they get in the decoys my buddy swings his gun over and let’s the biggest one have it. Just like that... off to breakfast.
