2021 Youth season

My son's Scout campout was canceled which opened up our weekend. 8 years ago this was a Facebook post I made.

"When out and about with Cooper, he saw my turkey call in the car and asked me to use it. I did a few yelps and he said "thats not how you call turkeys!" He then started calling out the open window as we drove home "turkey! Turkey!"



The other day we patterned the mossy 500 .410 with the TSS, it's a capable 40 yard pattern but 30 and in is where it looks nice.


Now I'm looking forward to Saturday morning.

We shot the 410 tonight just to shoot it. Can't find and tss for it so savannah will be carrying the crossbow she likes it better anyways. We will be out tomorrow night and sunday.

Just bought his first apprentice hunting license and turkey tag. He's excited and I'm killing my bottle of EH Taylor small batch to celebrate/relax with this evening. 0500 will come early but i can't wait to soak it in with him.

Good luck tomorrow!! I’ll be out with my son and his buddy Jake. (Jake is like my second son except I’m not financially responsible for him. ). I went out tonight for a listen and got a bird roosted. They don’t know that though. Hopefully it’s a dumb bird and one of the boys can squeeze the trigger.
