Hey Denny.... Who the hell you kidding??? 9 degrees out and it's a beautiful morning??? Maybe I'm getting old, but that's not for me anymore... Just crawled out of a nice warm bed and I'm on cup # 2 of nice hot coffee, about to fry up some ham and eggs.... You enjoy yourself....

Already ate and drank 3 cups of coffee on the way here. Trust me, I'm more than comfortable, and good. I feel great!

Sun is nearly putting me to sleep cause it's so warm hitting me.

Have a wonderful day, Rich!

With the cold I decided to walk in at sunrise. Hunting a property with my best friend that we’ve hunted since we were 16. This will be the last time due to the property being sold. Walked up on 4 in their beds and dropped a nice doe. Now it’s time to push this thicket to my buddy and get him one. Will post pictures later on. Good luck to everyone braving the elements!

Photo taken 10til five this evening.

Was in the blind all day, from 6:45 a.m. @9* until 5:30 p.m. @36*. Today was a total bust! Only heard 3 shots total today, all 3 during the last half hour and they came from afar, miles away, and that was it. Just goes to show that deer hunting is never a slam dunk kind of sport.

Just got home a minute ago. I left the property @6:00 p.m. and it just started to sprinkle rain. The weather forecast for this location overnight and into tomorrow, calls for rain, starting tonight @9:00 p.m. and it won't stop until 1:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. I won't hunt the morning tomorrow but, I will as soon as the rain stops in the afternoon for an evening hunt.

I closed up the blind nice and tight, zipping up all the windows to keep the rain from getting in. If I do not succeed tomorrow, then I'll keep right on hunting this setup until I shoot a good antlerless deer or until the end of the muzzy season, Tuesday evening.

Congratulations to all the successful muzzy hunters today, and good luck to all those that will back at it tomorrow!

Good night!

Ron invited our deer camp buddies and his SIL Nick over to our farm to do some slow organized pushes. Adam was blessed with a beautiful buck we named Rodge Jr which he shot just below our hunting cabin a little ways. Couldn’t be more happier for him and what a great memory made today for all of them today! Congratulations Adam!!!! Great shooting as always! Thanks for the call and pics! Felt like I was a part of it so THANK YOU BUDDY! 🤗👍🏻
