Im joking. U post the 1st morel pics every year and it baffles me. Give it two weeks and people will be finding them on black dirt on the sunny side of railroad tracks around here.

I am not going to doubt anyone. And those stems look like they were up since the last warm spell we had. But that is the earliest I have seen yellows in ohio. I usually find my first around apr 4. Congrats to who found them that is very cool.

I have found morels in March before but they are always greys. Yellows don't seem to pop around here until mid April

He text me directly and is a person I consider a friend and trust. Always invites me to go along also. Every year I say I'm gonna go and fill one bucket with shrooms and another with bluegills.

Growing up in NW Ohio, spring means fish! Turkeys are a waste of time and effort. Hit the water!

Im ready. Last falls shroom boom made a good diet for awhile and was the best ive felt in my life. I enjoy the morels but enjoy the benefits of eating everything shroomy. Glad to see the shroom thread 22.
