Just driving home from the kids karate class and we seen a really nice buck still carrying both sides. Hate that in March!

It's happing fast I've noticed! Going to be impossible to see a turkey by the time season gets here
I bet 20% drop here in the SW after greenup and guys have said F it, I’m onto Turkey scouting! LolIts become the norm! They really start dropping about the time the Honeysuckle has full leaf and you can't see anything

With the low numbers from the EHD and looking for some new turkey grounds that's my main focus
I had a couple bucks on camera chasing a doe (it appeared to be a doe) around a creek this evening.
Walked 2.25 miles. Spotted this one along the creek. Supposed to get 1.5-2" of rain the next couple days. This is why I wanted to hunt this property pretty hard.
Walked less than half mile from this one. Continuing along the creek travel corridors. I was pretty proud to find the next one. It was roughly 30-40yds across the creek. Saw a glint of sun. Walked a few steps. Looked again. Saw nothing. Something told me to go back and look from the first angle. Glad I did. Glassed it and saw what I was fairly certain were tines. Thought it might be a pair or else a really big shed. Got over there to find a matched set. That got me jacked up to walk out the rest of it and the next section.
Not sure how I missed this other than my excitement to find the set. I picked the set and crossed the creek. Finished the south side of creek. Crossed to search north side of the creek and realized this is a scrape where he dropped. Or at least right next to one.
Ended up covering 3.59 miles and glassed a ton of open fields. Came up empty in the open fields and majority of trails I walked. I'm not complaining. This was a great haul for me. Any day you find a matched set is a great day in my eyes.

Saskatchewan is one of my favorite places on Earth but there will have to be a lot of changes in Canada before I ever go back to that communist country. They are taking their firearms away from them. It's a mess up there

Great hunt today! Went out without a buzz drank a good amount beer saw a good amount of deer got affirmation to kill alot next year if ehd doesnt hit. Didnt find a one but will go again for sure. Saw alot of deer today and a great reason to drink beers walking in the woods! Wife didnt say a word half ripped coming home! My kinda sport!
I got out for a while Saturday morning found 2 and 2 dead bucks.

Didn't you have a pic of one in real bad shape? Looked like he was hit by a car or something.
Not same area as where that was. But yes I did. Both of these had bullet holes in them. I dont hunt this area just have permission to shed hunt.
