Just got our first warm rain of the season. Fungi season has im sure started down south. Ready for all things shroomey not just the morrel. Good luck! Spring is here. Looking forward to the pics! It just smells like shrooms with this rain!

I believe it! Anyone that's been in the southern Ohio woods the last week are seeing everything popping up like it's two weeks later then it is

I had a biology teacher in HS that found them in March most years. He was always weeks ahead of anyone else. In fact I sent him a text just tonight and told him to make plans to come to our place this year. That guy will shorten my learning curve on the new place tremendously.
They're finding small ones, but they are popping. It'll be a few more weeks before I start poking around my area.

Found 4 small greys this evening in Washington county. With the warm weather coming and some rain Thursday I'm hoping this weekend could be good!
