Could have two divisions. Rodent control ( shot over bait). And a old school squirrel hunting class. Which not sure how many guys on this site do that other than Jamie. I'm not implying anything is wrong with controlling them over bait. It's needed I agree. Just saying old school squirrel hunting is pretty cool. I know I'm old ,back when my dad started me hunting opening of squirrel season was a big deal I'm Ohio before we had deer. Them little bastards were pretty tough back in the day when everyone was wanting to eat them 😂

How far from a bait pile do you have to be? That is going to be the hard part these days with private land. We killed a bunch this year around the house too. That's 300 yards from the pile.

Surely, we all understand the difference between plinking squirrels literally standing on a pile of corn from a full concealment blind with a rifle on a rest and actually hunting squirrels like men, don't we? If anyone is confused about it, this might be a good time to iron that out. 🤷‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:

I completely get it. I just don't like the divide that seems to happen. Like throwing in "like men". We are not superior to eachother. Hunters need to throw the chest thumping to the side.

Now, if we want to have a public land and private land competition....im all in on that. But this superior BS about being real men, nope, I just won't play in the future. I will not support that divide.
