2024 Illinois Buck Back From Taxidermist

So I picked up my buck I got out in Illinois last year yesterday and hung him on the wall along with a few others.. Taxi did a great job.. In the group shot I gotta move one from another wall to balance it out... 2024's deer is on the far right...

George I have 2 bear mounts... I'm officially out of room now in that room...

@Sgt Fury Here's the two bear mounts... 3/4 shoulder mount on left ( Jersey bear 450 lbs. ) then on the right is a full mount of a Pa. bear ( 350 lbs. )

Those are 2 dang nice size bears Rich! Did you have them taped for record book or just your own knowledge? Certainly they’d be P&Y qualifiers, right? Taken with archery gear or gun?

Never had the skulls measured, not really a big deal to me... One on the left was shot with the crossbow at 10 yds. I was sitting on the ground... Actually was in my early years on TOO, there's a recap somewhere... Full body mount bear was shot with a 35 Whelen at about 100 yds in Pa. Since then I've passed on numerous bears here in Jersey... Just nothing has come along that puts lead in my pencil... Plus in the back of my mind I'm faced with what to do with a big one... Definitely it would get consumed but when I say I have no room, I have no room...
