Change in plans for dinner tonight.
The earliest I have ever found enough Chanterelles to fool with was June 21st.

Wow, that is very early. I don't see them until middle of July.

This is as many as I have ever found this early. I don't usually get into them heavy until mid to late July. It is interesting to me that I have one honey hole that always are the first to produce and peaks around the third or fourth week of July and others that don't start until end of July, then peak around the second week of August or later, assuming that it is an average year for production weather, etc.
