First morels of the year! Just 2 and they were small but it's still a little early yet.

Even though it’s early up this way I found myself looking at the ground a lot today.
I went yesterday to my early spot and found nothing. I did bring back 2 dozen bluegills
Ok, walk in and found 2. Thought it was gonna be a good day. 3.5 hrs latter 4 found. Next weekend southern ohio should be on fire
All small but there shall be more.

Grew some oyster shrooms last winter. Boy found oysters on a few yr old oak stump in our wood pile . Cut some pieces put in coffee grounds to get going. They say if they are lack in nutrition or conditions they produce more stems vs head. The ones we picked were normal looking oysters. I don't know I grew mushrooms though..just another hobby I'll get into some day.
